Just under a month of use and I’m loving it. I have experience using Balanced Body and AlignPilates studio reformers and am shocked how comparable this is at a way lower price point. I’ve put together Align Pilates reformer at the studio and it was a crazy long process, but I put this Fortus one together quickly by myself , in maybe 20 minutes! I had one question about connecting loops and they answered me right away! I’m really impressed with the different options and jump board being included. These are usually expensive add ons with other brands!! I bought this for home but have noticed I think it is at some studios I have been to in Toronto !

One comment I have is that the carriage can go out to adjust for height/leg length but it’s not a moveable gear bar so it does increase the tension. Only an issue for tall skinny people that are used to gearing out and it getting lighter 😂 I don’t find myself using the 2nd and 3rd row but maybe with time 💪

Another difference from align - the align carriage goes over the rails (can limit certain movements) while Fortus carriage is inside like balanced body, I much prefer this set up. The Fortus platform also has two options which I am so happy with and way prefer aesthetically instead of adding the soft one in front of the sandpaper one as a platform extender. I find the springs really good quality and maybe heavier than other brands? I like that there is 6 and tension can be really fine tuned.

Very soft and comfortable, it has a slimmer fit so you may want to size up if you like a roomier fit. Great quality!

While I've only had this for a couple weeks, I am impressed with the quality build of this product. Very solid construction. The wheels are quiet and smooth, and glide effortlessly upon the track. And it was very easy to assemble.
Just a side note, wear gloves when disassembling the packing crate as the metal angles can cut like a blade. Also, take the advice of the company and get someone to assist with the unpacking. While it looks more compact in its folded state, it IS awkward to carry alone. Fortunately I now own a quality reformer to help my lumbar spine get back into shape ;-)

This reformer is very beautiful. It is studio quality and glides silently.
I love the jump board and the quality of the upholstery!
You can fold it easily and the wheels are perfect for moving it around even on carpet!

I’ve had this beauty fully assembled in my home for a week now. I’m certified Pilates instructor who has mainly used Balance Body and Merrithew reformers. I absolutely love this reformer with tower. It is not only very well made but just gorgeous. It comes with everything you need and more. So happy with my purchase.
