The reformer works as well as the one I use at Club Pilates that is twice the price. Also the tower is well worth it!

I'm a new Pilates instructor but have practiced since the late 80s. While I have access to in-studio machines, I wanted a home reformer for personal use that was beautiful, functional, and most importantly space-conserving. After researching many options including used machines near me, Balanced Body, and Basi, I went with the Fortus Maple Elite. I couldn't be happier with this purchase. First of all, the customer service before, during, and after purchase is top notch. They are responsive and helpful at all times. Second, it is a beautiful machine. I love the look of the wood and the leather is very high quality. Assembly was a breeze with the help of the manual and the video - and while it might be best for two people to move it up 2 flights of stairs, my husband actually did it himself. Folding is simple and easy and it neatly stores in a closet or against a wall. Finally, the function is fantastic. The gliding is so smooth and quiet, and it comes with the jumpboard, foot strap, and box - which other companies wanted extra $ for. The carriage is quite comfortable and the footbar and headrest are easy to adjust. I love the spring arrangement with both yellow and blue springs on the outsides, so in side lying positions adjustments are quick and easy and don't interrupt the flow of your workout. It is an absolute steal for the price and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase again, am already thinking about starting my own studio and would purchase their studio-quality machines in a heartbeat.

Quality construction - easy to install. It would be useful to have a manual that provides detailed guidelines for positioning of springs and bars when using the tower.

Well my first machine arrived with about 4 holes in the crate and the legs sticking out and all scuffed up. I rejected the delivery and emailed customer service, they apologized and offered to order another reformer or refund my money. I ordered another one and the order was shipped in two days and i should receive it in about 8 days from order. I was extremely happy with how they handles the situation.

I’m a 68 year old guy. I work out 6 days a week
(stretching, weights, cardio). I also swim, kayak and paddle board.
Had my first ever Pilates session about 6 weeks ago. I was immediately hooked. I started my research right after my first session.
Went to Amazon. Saw several no name tables ranging in price from $1,000 to $3,000. Also looked at several brand names, including Balanced Body. I narrowed it down to the Balanced Body Rialto and a no name on Amazon. Strangely, Fortus just popped up on Facebook one day. Quality, pricing and what was included was extremely competitive. I e mailed Greg a bunch of stupid questions on a Sunday night. He immediately got back to me. This went on for several emails. He piqued my interest in the tower. I had no thought in purchasing that accessory at first.
Pricing: Fortus is hands down the best bang for your buck. So many attachments, (pricey “extras” with Balanced Body), are included with my Fortus aluminum table. I believe I saved $2,000 going with Fortus.
Delivery: I ordered on a Friday. Table arrived Wednesday. Table arrived in one massive crate. Well packed and protected. Follow the video instructions for opening the crate and assembly. No problems at all.
Quality: gotta say the table and attachments are rock solid. Tower is solid with lots of add ons.
Get the tower with your initial purchase. Pricing makes it a no brainer.
Padding, straps, ropes, springs all seem real good quality.
I used a Balanced Body table at the Pilates studio. Fortus is just as good and I believe more intuitive while using. Good quality at a great price. I’m happy with my choice.
So, don’t waste your time doing research. I did it for you.

Canadian made!!! Works well. Hard to fold but the fact that it does fold to save space is wonderful !

This is a well-made very well designed folding reformer. Very little to assemble once uncrated. I thought the lower height might make some moves such as Eve’s lunge impossible but it works just fine. Highly recommend!!

I received my reformer only a couple of weeks ago and am very satisfied with its quality and how smooth it flows. The assembly was quick and the instructions were easy to follow. I have limited space so it is convenient that it folds up and tucks out of the way. I would highly recommend this reformer. Brenda L.

I love my folding reformer. The built is excellent. So easy to put together. Easy to slightly disassemble and fold when needed. It arrived within a few days. I use it every other day and it has been functioning very smoothly.

I absolutely love my reformer. 🥰 I'm a small woman so I love the fact that it has lower spring tension so I can do ALL the exercises. 💪 Costumer service is great and Canadian made. I 💯 recommend.👌 👍

Thank you Fortus for creating an affordable high quality reformer! I just received my Maple Elite Studio Reformer. It was shipped in a wooden crate and nicely wrapped and packed. I was a little nervous about putting it together, but setup was a breeze using the YouTube guide you provided. It did take two people to move the reformer into the the room I wanted it (not upset about that because it is made with solid wood). The wood is beautiful and the carriage is so smooth. I was able to start my reformer Pilates right away and I am looking forward to using my reformer everyday!
