Super easy to set up, great packaging and clear instructions. Love that its on wheels for easy moving. Very adjustable. I am used to a reformer higher off the ground but the lower height is sort of nice for transitioning off and on the machine safely. It is a bit more difficult to get up from for my mom, but I think it may also be practice since she is unfamiliar with a reformer. Good quality and happy with my purchase. Adjusting to exactly what I needed took some trial and error, but adjustments are quick and easy. The only thing I would say is that the carriage is a bit harder than the studio one I am used to since I have a previous tailbone injury, but I have had people suggest cutting a yoga mat to size to put on top of the carriage if extra padding is needed, or use a carriage protector to add extra cushion.

Thank you Fortus for creating this foldable home reformer. The set up and assembly was easy. We loved following the videos and had the unit up and ready for use very quickly. We also loved how this reformer came with everything - double loop straps, box and jumpboard are included (they are not extra purchase options with Fortus) which is so great! The reformer is sturdy, steady, glides easily and quietly, and the materials are of high quality (frame, carriage, handles, cables and double loop straps, footbar, foot strap, all of the padded/covered parts and accessories). We've experienced ease of use, from the folding and opening set up sequence, to the padded carriage/shoulder rests/headrests/footbar use, to the straps/handles. The springs are easy to switch/adjust and provide good tension options for all fitness levels.
Great value for money, and most of all, a game changer to have this quality of a space conscious foldable Pilates reformer right at home.

My only experience using a reformer was in a studio using a well known American brand. When looking to purchase one, Fortus provided what looked like a similar quality product for much less cost, so decided to purchase one.
The reformer came on a big pallet but was easy to move to the final location following the directions. The Reformer itself is a joy to use, and operates very smoothly and quietly. Pleased with the excellent quality of the product and the support received from the company with questions I had. Highly recommend this reformer to anyone who is looking for their own.

Coming from both classical and contemporary teaching backgrounds, I was pleasantly surprised at how well this chair allows me and my clients to seamlessly flow through classical high chair and wunda chair exercises, with the added benefit of contemporary flair, including the ability to create a single or dual pedals, multiple spring options, and adjustable handles. So happy with this purchase!

Just under a month of use and I’m loving it. I have experience using Balanced Body and AlignPilates studio reformers and am shocked how comparable this is at a way lower price point. I’ve put together Align Pilates reformer at the studio and it was a crazy long process, but I put this Fortus one together quickly by myself , in maybe 20 minutes! I had one question about connecting loops and they answered me right away! I’m really impressed with the different options and jump board being included. These are usually expensive add ons with other brands!! I bought this for home but have noticed I think it is at some studios I have been to in Toronto !

One comment I have is that the carriage can go out to adjust for height/leg length but it’s not a moveable gear bar so it does increase the tension. Only an issue for tall skinny people that are used to gearing out and it getting lighter 😂 I don’t find myself using the 2nd and 3rd row but maybe with time 💪

Another difference from align - the align carriage goes over the rails (can limit certain movements) while Fortus carriage is inside like balanced body, I much prefer this set up. The Fortus platform also has two options which I am so happy with and way prefer aesthetically instead of adding the soft one in front of the sandpaper one as a platform extender. I find the springs really good quality and maybe heavier than other brands? I like that there is 6 and tension can be really fine tuned.
