Love that it is sturdy and beautiful! Today was my first day testing out my new machine and I have to say that I am loving it!

I love it!

16 years post major spinal fusion (T11-L4) I was finally advised by an othropedic surgeon a method of physical therapy to preserve my quality of life and the few healthy vertebra I have left. He suggested reformer pilates due to my hyper mobility. Never in my life have I felt better and after experiencing multiple studios and multiple brands of equipment. I can say with full confidence that Fortus' Maple Elite Studio Reformer has more than exceeded my expectations. Not only does it live up to its Elite name, the assembly process was seamless and safe for someone that can only lift a certain amount.

Admittedly I have yet to use our new reformer. While doing the minor bit of required assembly however, it sure seems to be of very high quality. Fit/finish, rollers, springs, cushions all appeared to be manufactured to very high standards. My two daughters (who have both been to over a hundred, in studio, Pilates sessions) and wife have all used it and are very pleased so far. We’ve only had it for a week, but so far so good!

This reformer is AMAZING. It shipped very fast and was in perfect condition on arrival. Easy assembly and so smooth and quiet. I'm so glad I decided on this reformer. Only thing is I wanted it with the trapeze but it was out of stock in the US and won't be able to get it now with the tariffs. Even so, This reformer is perfect!

I love my reformer! I didn't have to wait long for it to arrive. It came very well packaged so nothing was damaged during shipping. The videos on You Tube provided great instructions on unpackaging and setting up my reformer (even though my husband didn't want to follow them!). It works beautifully and looks great too.

The core build quality is there — the kind of durability and stability you’d want for private training, low-volume studios, or bulk orders where budget matters.

While some premium features (like ultra-fast rope adjustments or infinity footbar) are better suited for high-turnover class environments, this reformer performs extremely well for home studios, private sessions, and controlled studio use.

The inclusion of platforms, jumpboard, and two sets of handles adds real value, especially when compared to brands that require expensive add-ons.

One honest note: the standard black leather used on the carriage was a bit slippery for my preference. I ordered custom upholstery on my Allegro 2s as well, so this wasn’t unexpected. I’m replacing it with carbon fiber marine vinyl (~3 yards, ~$45), which is a great option for durability—especially in real-world studio or pet-friendly environments.

Final reality check: you can’t expect a $5,000 reformer setup for $2,000. For buyers who understand pricing realities and want professional-grade performance at a more accessible price point, this is a strong, well-thought-out option.

Highly recommend for serious home use, private training, and value-conscious studio owners.

Love this Reformer! It was packaged well, delivered on time, and such good quality. After reading other reviews, I decided on the Fortus name and so glad I did. Also love they are a Canadian company too. Easy to setup with instructions on YouTube. Highly recommend!

I love my foldable reformer!! It’s a perfect size for my 5’3 body. I’m also grateful for the three month natural Pilates virtual classes! It’s awesome!
