I recently purchased my Maple Elite Studio Reformer from Fortus Pilates and I love it!  Such a high quality reformer, with lots of accessories included.

I was introduced to pilates through a physiotherapist after years of back pain due in part to a weak core. Unfortunately as an accountant I spend too much time sitting at a desk which really compounds the problem. 

I started researching getting my own reformer as part of an ongoing fitness journey and came across Fortus Pilates.  At first I thought it was too good to be true, the reformers look high quality and the price was about half of other high end reformers.  I took a chance on ordering it and I’m so happy I did! 

The team at Fortus were amazing at communicating throughout the process and ensuring everything arrived as it should.  I ordered at a time when they were out of stock, but the team was great at keeping me informed when I’d be able to complete my purchase.  They sent me a nice welcome package, and it was really easy to follow their YouTube set up guide once the reformer was delivered.

The reformer itself is the quality I would expect if I’d bought one for double the price. I have no doubt I will be using this for many years to come.  I’ve already had some great improvements in mobility and muscle tone.  I love the ability to hop straight on for a workout after work, and with the different resistance levels I can make it as easy or challenging as I’m up for.  This really is a key piece of equipment for me in maintaining a healthy lifestyle and mobility as I age.

Overall I’m so happy with my purchase and would highly recommend a Fortus Pilates Reformer!

From the onset it was apparent that this company was customer centered and wants you to love their productas much as they do.

Buying Canadian is important to me, so is quality, as I will be using this product with my clients.  This company ticked all the boxes.  The machine came so well packaged - you feel the care it’s been treated with.  The set up was easy with clear instructions and I couldn’t be happier with how the machine looks and feels.

The smooth, quiet carriage, beautiful craftsmanship, exceptional feel and quality of the springs and straps were all things I was looking for in a reformer.

Having all the extras like the box and jump board included seemed unbelievable compared to the up charges from all the other companies.

I was looking to buy my very first Reformer as a new Pilates instructor and did a ton of research online as well as tried a variety of Reformers.  As I have very high expectations from using in-studio Reformers, I knew I wanted something sturdy, with lots of options and made of excellent quality materials.  I really wanted to have all the accessories so I can perform a variety of movements and to challenge myself in my practice.

I had heard some really great things about Fortus Pilates from a client and after finding them online I knew I had found exactly what I was looking for.  From the smooth rolling of the comfortable carriage, to the soft silky feel of the hand/feet straps I was impressed with the construction and quality as well as how simple it was to put my Maple Elite Studio Reformer and Tower together when it arrived at my home.  It was delivered safely, packed and wrapped so the few pieces I had to place together were all in perfect condition.

I have been working as a Pilates instructor and taking classes for the last two years and I have found all my training and practice has improved as I have been using my own Fortus Reformer at home.  Each time I use my Fortus Reformer I find something new to try and love the 3 rows of buttons to give a variety of tensions for the springs, the many foot bar settings I can easily adjust and having 2 attachments for the foot strap was a nice surprise.  I love the extra large Jumpboard and super happy it came with the sitting box as part of my Reformer Tower package.  The Tower gives so many options to perform movements standing on the floor as well as lying on the carriage with the Mat converter in place.  With many adjustments to the carriage stoppers I can modify the Reformer to each body size and ability as needed.

As I continue to change the set up I am confident that this high quality product will hold up to many years of safe Pilates practice to come.

I have also been impressed with the great communication I have had with Fortus Pilates and appreciate their quick responses and customer welcome gift that they sent me with my owner’s manual.  Any questions I have had were answered in a timely manner and it’s obvious they value their customers and want the best experience for them when purchasing their products. 

I have happily shared my experience with this amazing company with many friends, family members and clients.  I would absolutely recommend Fortus Pilates to anyone interested in investing in their own Pilates equipment.  I do hope they keep adding to their inventory and offer additional Pilates apparatuses in the future.  They are a fantastic Canadian company with fabulous products and provide excellent customer service!

I am a busy mom of 3 wonderful kids and we are always on the go.  A couple of years ago this took its toll on me and I started to feel like an 80 year old woman.  My neck and joints all seemed to be screaming at me.

Then came pilates.   I joined a Pilates club and I noticed a difference in my body within a couple of months and after a few more I had incredible endurance and energy.  I fell in love with pilates, as well as the incredible reformers at the club.

A few months ago I went back to work full time and knew I wouldn't have time to make it to pilates classes, nor could I stomach paying almost $300/ month for membership.  Then I found Fortus.

I was devastated thinking I’d have to give up classes, and my body felt it within a month or two.  Buying a Fortus reformer was hands down the best decision I could have made for my health.  Now I can work out at home, whenever I like, on a reformer that rivals the in-club reformers.  There is nothing I did in my club classes that I can't do on the Fortus Studio Reformer.  And now, the whole family has gotten into it!

I can’t say enough about how great it was to work with Greg - he was so helpful and not at all pushy.  The delivery was so smooth and the reformer came pre built which was amazing.  If you’re on the fence, buy one!  I can’t recommend them enough!

Pilates has been my sport of choice for the last 10 years.

With a very busy career and full life, I have not always been as assiduous as I should have been: sometimes, going to the studio at set times was not possible, given my full schedule.

Last year, ahead of my second knee replacement surgery, I decided that I was going to do what I should have done years ago: purchase a Reformer so that I could exercise at home, when it suits me.

I looked at many different brands, models. I then found Fortus and contacted their sales department.  Within minutes, I had answers to all my questions, and I ordered my Reformer.  Fortus’ client service is impeccable, courteous, and considerate.  I was always pleasantly surprised at their responsiveness and ability to meet my needs as a customer.

My Pilates journey, quite honestly, started with menopause. My joints were sore and I was fatiguing very easily with my normal work out routine of running and weight lifting. I needed a better way to incorporate cardio and resistance training into my fitness plan. Years ago, I had bought a small reformer to help me recover from knee surgery.

I joined a wonderful Pilates studio here in Kingston quickly outgrew the small little unit I had purchased so I started to research what options were out there for me. I wanted to be able to put Pilates into my daily routine when it suited me as I am still working full time. I talked to people at my studio, on the internet and through social medical platforms to see what options were good for me.

This research led me to Fortus and within 2 days, I had a Facetime call with Greg. He went through everything with me and took a lot of time to explain the reformer and was very honest in answering questions, when comparing other reformers to the Fortus.

My reformer arrived within 2 weeks. It was packed very well and the assembly was quick and easy. I ended up purchasing the reformer/tower combination and I have absolutely no regrets other than I should have done it sooner. I have it in my exercise room and it is a beautiful reformer. The maple is of great quality and the tower, springs, mat, box, jump board and extension boards are great quality. They are solid but still easy to move around and work with. I also love the idea of the 3 levels for the springs. It offers even more options for my practice. It is a quiet and very user friendly.

This is a quality product and priced well when compared with others on the market. I have no regrets in this purchase and would encourage anyone thinking about making a reformer purchase to give serious consideration to Fortus. The product and customer service were excellent. I have no doubts I will be using this for years to come.

My name is Nicole and I am the Director of Recreation for the City of Prince Rupert. I have a bachelors in Kinesiology and have been involved in sport and recreation my entire life.

My passion is developing physical literacy for communities. Physical literacy is the fundamental or functional movement skills, confidence and motivation to be active for life; this is why I wanted a home studio reformer. I live in a small remote community in Northern BC and we do not have a pilates reformer studio. I wanted a reformer for my own life long practice to stay active through resistance training, cardio, injury rehab and prevention; I can get this all in one machine.
