Detailed Comparison
Price
Price matters. Why spend $4K or more on a studio-quality reformer? Our reformers are priced at a fraction of the cost, starting from just $2,195 – generally half the price of equivalent Merrithew reformers.
We've meticulously streamlined our entire business model for direct-to-consumer wholesale pricing. This approach enables us to offer our reformers at significantly lower rates compared to our competitors, all without compromising our unwavering dedication to quality.
Quality & Durability
Don't compromise on quality. Merrithew reformer machines are renowned for their durability, and rightfully so. However, it's important to note that Fortus Pilates reformers not only match but, in certain crucial aspects, actually surpass the quality of Merrithew machines.
At Fortus Pilates, we are unwavering in our commitment to offering our customers the absolute best in Pilates reformers. Discover the tangible difference our dedication to quality can make.
Upholstery
The upholstery on a Pilates reformer can make or break the experience. It must be exceptionally durable to withstand wear, yet soft and comfortable for a truly enjoyable session.
Indulge in the opulence of microfiber leather with Fortus Pilates. We exclusively employ the finest microfiber leather, ensuring the utmost comfort and durability. In contrast, Merrithew opts for less expensive and less comfortable vinyl upholstery for their reformers.
Included Accessories
Say goodbye to expensive upsells with Fortus Pilates. Unlike Merrithew reformers, which require an additional $565 for a basic jumpboard, all Fortus Pilates reformers come fully equipped with essential accessories at no extra cost.
With Fortus Pilates, you get a comprehensive package, including a premium jumpboard, sitting box, platform extenders, footstrap, and more, ensuring you have everything you need right from the start.
Easy Returns
Shop with peace of mind. When you're making a significant investment in a Pilates reformer, it's essential to have the confidence that you can return the machine hassle-free if you're not satisfied for any reason.
Merrithew, unfortunately, restricts product returns to only cases of defects. If you find yourself dissatisfied with your Merrithew reformer, you're left with limited options. In stark contrast, Fortus Pilates offers a customer-friendly return policy. If you're not entirely satisfied with your reformer within the first 30 days, simply let us know, and we'll make arrangements for the machine to be returned, and a refund will be issued. Your satisfaction is our priority.
Warranty
Secure the longevity of your investment. A high-quality reformer should endure for years, even in a studio environment. A robust warranty demonstrates a manufacturer's commitment to their product and customer satisfaction.
Both Merrithew and Fortus Pilates offer similar warranties on reformers. Indeed the only difference is in the upholstry warranty. While Fortus Pilates offers a full 1 year warranty on all upholstry, Merrithew's upholstry warranty is limited to only 90 days
