Aluminum Elite Studio Reformer

So excited everyday to use my new reformer.

This Canadian company makes a reformer of top quality. It’s super sturdy, whisper quiet and glides so smoothly. The wood is beautiful and I got the white/cream leather which looks so stunning. Set-up was minimal and instruction videos by Greg were so easy to follow. It comes mostly set up already in the crate. It came packed very well and shipping was timely. Greg even emailed me within a week to see if I had any questions about my product. Amazing customer service. Highly recommended!

I have been shopping studio reformers for approximately one year now. After much research and some feedback from a local pilates reformer studio who run their classes on Fortus reformers, I decided to make the plunge and purchase the Fortus aluminum reformer. My own experience has been on Merrithew STOTT SPX reformer at a studio close to my home.

Foremost, what do Iove... well EVERYTHING!!! It is so hard to choose.

OK, but if I had to choose one thing it would be the level of resistance this machine offers. As a former gym girlie (think gym bro but in female form) who regulary lifted very HEAVY weights this reformer seriously challenges my strength and stability with so so much room to grow into.

I have absolutley fallen in love with reformer pilates over this past year and I have been on my reformer every day since it arrived!

My 21 year old daughter while away at university takes classes on Balanced Body reformers at the gym near her residence. She was recently home over Christmas break and also fell in the love with this Fortus Reformer.

I also want to briefly touch on the customer service. Greg has been so helpful throughout this entire process. He was so patient and informative in helping me make the right decision for my needs. He explained to my husband the delivery and set up as we wanted to make sure the reformer would fit well into our space. He also acted with the upmost integrity and didn't put down other brands when helping me to choose the right reformer for my home and needs.

If you are on the fence, take the Fortus plunge! I am so glad I did.

The Maple Elite Studio Reformer arrived securely. It's very sturdy. The maple with black and chrome looks stunning. I absolutely love it and I'm very happy with the quality.

If you are like me and have discovered the joys of « reformer Pilates » but your budget limits you from practicing it, then don’t hesitate to treat yourself with this « Maple Élite Studio Reformer ».
At first, I was skeptical about the quality and the reasons why the price was low (compared to others). So, I contacted customer service. Kacia answered all my questions (even on a Sunday morning) and helped me determine my choice. I received my reformer within 7 days (leaving in Qc). Thanks to the videos, I was able to assemble my reformer with ease, and now I enjoy it every day. Additionally, the purchase comes with 90 days of access to the website « Natural Pilates TV ». The reformer is beautiful, sturdy and the carriage is super smooth (just like in the studio) this is my best purchase and do not hesitate to contact them!

Solid, smooth gliding, great accessories, great price! I learned reformer pilates on a well-known brand of equipment but the price to purchase was far too expensive. I found Fortus, researched it, and purchased. I am so happy with my decision. So well made - I'm totally impressed.

I like the straps - very comfortable and you don't need to constantly convert them for different uses.

The springs are great, the accessories included are great. The best part is it was a fraction of the cost of the other brand. I'm so happy I purchased it!

Don't hesitate, just buy it! I spent a while researching reformers, and after reading many, many comparison articles, I decided to buy the Maple Elite Studio Reformer for home use. I am so happy I did! The delivery was quick, and went very smoothly through Manitoulin Transport. Kacia followed up soon after to make sure the delivery went well and there weren't any issues with the reformer. It was packed extremely well, and the materials used for the reformer are excellent quality! It really is a beautiful machine, and all parts operate smoothly. I used the YouTube assembly video and I had it set up in no time. I had one small issue (the screws for the wheels were not included), but Kacia had them sent out to me in no time - so happy with their customer service as well! I would highly recommend this reformer, and this company.

I came across Fortus Pilates last summer. I wasn't sure where to purchase a reformer from but knew I wanted a good quality one that didn't break the bank. After doing a lot of research, I contacted Fortus in the fall and let me tell you... their customer service is as wonderful as all of the reviews say. Kacia, who I think is one of Fortus' owners, answered every email with detail and patience, and I asked a lot of questions! When I finally decided to order the maple elite studio reformer with tower in November, they were sold out! Kacia offered to set one aside for me (at no cost) and contacted me a few weeks after when the unit was in stock. The reformer was delivered in mid December, so I have been using it about 3 weeks now. I LOVE IT! I can't get over how quiet it is, compared to the ones at the studio. At the studio I find the hand loops so noisy as they are attached by D rings but that goes away with this machine. The springs have so much more tension given that they are new and not used in a commercial setting. The shipping was straight forward, and so was putting the equipment together. They also sent me a complementary water bottle! The videos and manual that Fortus has are very helpful. They accidentally packaged the wrong manual and upon contacting Kacia, the right manual was couriered right away. I am not super handy and found the unboxing of the reformer a bit challenging. I would recommend that people use gloves while doing this as the crate it comes with has a metal frame that can be sharp at times (see picture). I put the reformer together by myself, so anyone can do it lol! I love all the accessories that come with the unit and it looks so beautiful in our basement. For the first few days after I got it, our basement smelled amazing (maple and leather wooohoo). After trying to get my husband to try Pilates for months, he has now tried the reformer a couple of times so thank you Fortus for helping me recruit him! It's great that it comes with a 3 month subscription to Natural Pilates. I am on the heavier side and love that it has a 350lbs weight limit. The carriage is so comfortable (and did I mention quiet?). I was a bit hesitant to use the tower at first but it is very safe. I had read one earlier review about the tower not being super sturdy and Kacia informed me that they have made improvements to the tower design.
All in all, my only regret is not buying it sooner! I know it's a big decision and quite the investment, but don't be hesitant! If you really think about it, how much money do we each spend on other stuff that is not good for our health? this is a lifelong investment that I will never regret buying.

I’ve done a lot of research to find the perfect reformer for my home and Fortus Maple Elite Studio Reformer checked all the boxes. My husband can’t stop commenting on the high quality of this reformer and how quiet and smooth it is. The price point for this quality is great and customer service is wonderful. I highly recommend this reformer to anyone in the market for one. It’s a great investment. It was simply to set up and looks great in our home studio.

Working shift work I was finding it difficult to make it to classes without compromising my sleep. Having this reformer at home allows me to get a class in anytime of the day and have been able to do everything the same as if I was back in a studio. It's well worth the money. The only draw back is if you live in an apartment/condo they will only delivery to your building door and it comes in a very heavy crate. I ended up picking it up from the warehouse instead with some help and was able to set it up very quickly!

The Pilates reformer bed is very easy to use. Very comfortable. And made a very good quality material. I’m very happy with it.
